My hero... My hero is the one who stands beside me. The one who believes that i can be whatever i wish to be. The only one that loves me for whatever hardship i have been through and changed because of. The faithfull watcher in the world of shadow who hides behind the ray of light. The woman who brought me into this life and allowed me to become the man I am today. My Dear ol' Mum

My hero is someone most of you know. That's right, it's Sefton. He entered my life at a time when I was lost and had given up hope on myself and the life I was leading. He quickly picked me up, brushed me off, and tells me daily what a great person I am. He's an excellent father to our children. He's a good son to his parents. He stand by his friends no matter what. Even after years of marriage, I never doubt that I am #1 in his life. I can count on him. He's intelligent, funny, easy going, and dependable. Drop dead sexy should go without saying :) He's the best person I have ever met. Oh.. and he loves me!!!! And I him:)

I'm sorry if you did not see the effect of my post. My mother is my hero. a Lt. Commander in the US navy. She raised me as a single mother for 18 years. As often as i have screwed up in life she has been the only one that has been around to offer me a hand or at least an I told you so. That is why she is my hero Jordan.

Mine would be my Chemistry Teacher. Back in grade 8 he told me that I could be whatever I wanted to be because he saw potential in me. Ever since then, I've been inspired to become the best person I can possibly be and help the world in some way before I pass away. I now think I've got what it takes to change the world.... It's a big boast but I'll try my best :)

Wang Weilin. Or whatever his real name was.

By proxy, also the tank commander who did not run him down, even though I'm sure he had orders to.

That moment in time reminds me that sometimes, one person can make a difference.

My hero is undertow, he will always be better at tekken than I.

IndependenZ October 3 2005 7:49 AM EDT

Spongebob Squarepants is my hero.

Xiaz on Hiatus October 3 2005 8:15 AM EDT

Enrique Igelsias is my hero, he said he was up to the job in his song named, funny enough, 'Hero'.

And hey, I'm not picky.

If I was to choose an alternate Hero, it'd be the one, the only, the Superman!

No doubt this will upset some of our players from the UK who are old enough to remember her, but Margaret Thatcher truly was an incredible lady of vision and strength of character.
I was lucky enough to see her at her political best during Prime Ministers Question Time when I traveled to London and the Houses of Parliament as part of my political studies course in 1984. Our country was (IMO) rescued by her just in the nick of time after the economic disasters of the 70's and we have a lot to thank her for.
