In your opinion, what is the most well run fansite you have ever been (in Off-topic)

For me it has to be http://the-op.com/, a fansite for the television show Arrested Development. It is always being updated with news about the show and does so in the same way that the show is-- lots of inside jokes and double entendres. An informative and hilarious way to spend the six days between episodes!

Now what are your favorites? It can be for anything that there are fans of, but it has to be run by the fans and not the company that produces whatever it is.

There was a site that dedicated itself to Nick Coyle, a musician. The site was much more up to date than any of his band's website. Sadly the guy who ran it closed it down.
www.theshallowbay.com Breaking Benjamin's fan site. It has released for free over 100 live songs and is very up to date. They always stay tied in with the band.

I get so tired of ads all over the page and having to pay to be able to view the content that is already there, but spread between 1500 flash ads with sound.
