Question on minor difference in auction histories (in General)

I looked at the corn in auctions and followed the "expired" link, but it gave me a different list than actually searching for expired corn auctions in the main auction page. Seems that the "expired auctions" link inside the item auction page only shows you stuff that sold, not stuff that wasn't sold. I'd of course like to see both when I click from inside the item auctions page.

I only want to see sold, because items that didn't sell are less useful in predicting market value.

Fair enough. I was also looking at unsold items to determine "unreasonable" player estimates of market value, but this makes sense.
