10MB attachment limit is pretty standard. When I have to send files larger than 10MB, I use yousendit.com. Another option is to zip the file(s) up and split them into 9.5MB pieces, then send each piece in an individual email, kind of like posting binaries to usenet (does anyone still remember usenet?).

10mb limit ain't right I think. actually 10mbs I think is because other mail sites have limits on their mail being 10mbs or less on receiving attachments/size of box being 10mb.

Marketing...they do not have the disk space to give 1TB to each person who signs up.

I've never filled 2 gigs, why have 1000? Other than to back up my hard driver 10 meg at a time.
