Tattoo Usage (in General)

Has any character achieved a modicum of success without a tattoo?

That is my goal with Mikel Jr. The only tattoo i want to use is a RoE. However, if that doesn't work out, my strat would be great with a RoS, ToE or ToA.

Depends if you count an RoE as a tattoo.

Be careful using that RoE as we both have seemed to experience "unexplainable, unresearchable MPR loss" whilest using them...

I've found that after ditching my RoS for a named (the named part is actually kinda important, it allows you get close to what an actual tat gives for extra XP) RoE, my score has dropped about what I expected, and my rewards have certainly lowered, but not much more than they would have in the same time span with the tat. I think building a team and adding a (max sized) tat will become popular as time goes on, considering the combination of NUB + RoE = Top Spot Possibilities. Fight with an RoE, keep insta-ing up an RoS (best tat in the game if you don't want to spend any $US getting corns, CoI's, or morgs.)
