SUBWAY - The pineapple dilemma (in Off-topic)

{CB1ate}aupStar October 29 2005 6:27 PM EDT

I used to be one of subway's most loyal customers. Used to buy two foot long subs per week!! So yummy yum yum!! That is, until they took pineapple off the menu. Now its just not the same anymore...=/

So I stopped eating subway for 6 months as a protest. All they did was jack up the prices and still no pineapple....x(

This is so unfair.

your thoughts..?

Pineapple and meats just don't whet my appetite. Yuck.

Admin{CB1}Slayer333 [SHIELD] October 29 2005 8:26 PM EDT

Cold cut trio on Italian herb and cheese bread....

Heaven.

Wonderpuff October 29 2005 8:29 PM EDT

Meatball with Jalapeno, Banana Peppers, Onions and Ranch Dressing. Awesome, if you've travelled to a town with no place worth eating.

XxFaezerxX October 29 2005 9:19 PM EDT

will somebody just listen to me turkey breast is so good...... =)

BrandonLP October 29 2005 9:21 PM EDT

{CB3}-HR22 October 29 2005 9:27 PM EDT

12" Cold cut, heavy mustard, pickles, banana peppers, black olives, salt & pepper, a medium mountain dew, and a bag of doritos, is how i do it.

BrandonLP October 29 2005 9:56 PM EDT

12" Cold Cut Trio with white american cheese, lettuce, black olives, tomatoes, mustard, and mayo. Of course, on Italian Herb and Cheese bread.

BMWheatley October 29 2005 9:58 PM EDT

plain and simple.. (and not from Subway)

PB & J.. come on people : )

Admin{CB1}Slayer333 [SHIELD] October 29 2005 9:59 PM EDT

maulaxe October 29 2005 10:02 PM EDT

subway? no way! Port Of Subs rules!

BrandonLP October 29 2005 10:29 PM EDT

Usually spicy, but regular works. I haven't quite tried it with honey mustard yet.

QBBast [Hidden Agenda] October 29 2005 10:38 PM EDT

I've never had a pineapple option at Subway. :(

Admin{CB1}Slayer333 [SHIELD] October 29 2005 10:57 PM EDT

:O Spicy....

/me hires secret service to protect himself from Brandon aka: stalker

Bootsanator October 29 2005 11:02 PM EDT

I've never seen pineapple at subway either! that would be so cool...

deathwake October 29 2005 11:03 PM EDT

I just want the stamps back.

{CB1ate}aupStar October 30 2005 12:34 AM EDT

lol...gives you some of my stamps....^_^ I have so many....;)

sigh, maybe i should take some pineapple to the store and ask them to top it up...=)

Karmic Mishap [Soup Ream] October 30 2005 1:11 AM EST

I have never seen pineapple at any sandwich shop, myself.... But I'm willing to bet that most of you can't get green chile every day! Mmmmmm.... Oh, and can you add 'chile' to the spellchecker, Jon?

Special J October 30 2005 1:13 AM EST

no, because it is chille
Chile, with a capital, is a country.

QBBast [Hidden Agenda] October 30 2005 1:22 AM EST

I can get chili, but it isn't green. (Wuss, "chili" is also a correct spelling for the fruit of any of several varieties of capsicum.) And who eats "prepared" chili after the whole Wendy's fiasco?

Relic October 30 2005 1:26 AM EST

Didn't the Wendy's fiasco end up being a silly woman who planted the finger of a dead aunt of her's in the chili? I love Wendy's chili. :)

QBBast [Hidden Agenda] October 30 2005 2:00 AM EST

Yes, Glory. Which is why it was a "fiasco" instead of a "horror". Chili comes from the kitchen not the fast food joint.

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] October 30 2005 4:13 AM EST

O_O

Chili. Dead Aunts finger? I'm glad I missed that one!

BrandonLP October 30 2005 11:02 AM EST

Karmic, at the IBM location where I used to work, we had the most amazing breakfast burritos filled and topped with a wonderful green chili.

Tezmac October 30 2005 12:44 PM EST

If your green chili isn't from the small town of Hatch in New Mexico, then you're not eating real green chili. :O)

[SoV] Shiv [/me Forge Stuff :D] October 31 2005 1:08 AM EST

subway is for cheapos >:P and bland in taste.

Gooooooooooooo QUIZNOS!

BrandonLP October 31 2005 1:12 AM EST

I can spend nine bucks at Quiznos and eat the same amount that five bucks would get me at Subway. There's a reason I live in a college town and Quiznos shut down and Subway survived...

maulaxe October 31 2005 1:41 AM EST

Port Of Subs gives a 10% student discount on everything... or maybe its just this particular one, I don't know.

jayuu October 31 2005 11:51 AM EST

@ Tezmac, I don't know about the chili in Hatch but I've tried the green chili in Lemitar,NM (about 100 miles north). It still burns. :)

Tezmac October 31 2005 12:49 PM EST

Up by Socorro? Yep, they've got good chili there too, I should have expanded and said chili from all of NM. :O)

BrandonLP October 31 2005 2:42 PM EST

/me wonders what Tezmac would charge to send some chili a few states over. ;)
