o...m...g
Ok, i just signed on arfter a 6 hours break....and once i sign on i goto busniess > Forge and my RPM was at 47% on getting my MH from x95 to x96, a 630k NW upgrade....
Well, i started to heat it 12 times for 10 minutes each time. Well on heat #10, the stupiddwarf came in and plunged it into the water...Now when i forge, i ****NEVER****, sign off without finishing a cycle....
so why did the dwarf butt in?
And secondly, i noticed my RPM also went down to 25%, omg i am pissed, that 22% difference right there is like 4-5 full sets of BA, and you fellow forgers know how i could be feeling right now...lol. I am just wondering if Jon can put my RPM back up to 47~50%, cuz i am really mad right now...=/

Yes, Mushu was forging Todd's xbow for several weeks on 1 X. Then he overheated and lost *all* progress made in those weeks.
Right after that the penalty for overheating was reduced to just 50%...
i thought just doing it wrong was punishment enough.... i didnt know you lost 50% RPM...Thats ridiculous...
But i did NOT screw up, so why did i lose something? I signed in and heated it for 80 minutes, (when its [120, 27]), i should've had room for 4 more heats...

Your right, you didn't screw up.
The game code is just out to get you.
Which is more likely?

It is a small possibility that shortly after you signed off with a finished cycle Jon did a small rollback as he is working on changing game code for the month? This would explain how you could be set back to the middle of a cycle. When you signed back on and heated by count and didnt notice the color you accidentally overheated thus the dwarf and RPM penalty.
Unfortunate reguardless of the reason.
Sad part is, i couldnt back up to see what the color was.
But i am 97% positive the thing was cool to the touch (and the "You feel quiet satisfaction..."), meaning i was starting from scratch
=/

When you signed back on after your break, was the log cleared?
Use forgemaster, that is all.

there were no rollbacks, mini or otherwise, and the forge dwarf does not make mistakes.
as painful as it is to your pride, the simple fact is you screwed up.
