Well.... how to start. My team has won 3 games so far that puts us into the southeast regional match. If we win this match, we will be into the state tournament.... which is one of the biggest highlights anyone could have in their high school career. My team is very skill and has won 2-0, 1-0 (in the first overtime), and 2-0 in the past few games. We are Long Island Class "C" champions. We are Southold, from the North Fork of long island.
Now, tomorrow 1 o'clock at Center Moriches field we play Keio academy. An all japenese schol that when they graduate they move on to one of the most prestigous universities in Japan. Now, they won states last year. We have prepared as much mentally as we could. My whole team even shaved their heads to the form of mohawks. Let me tell you, we look sweet.
All I am asking, is if you have free time please think about my team. If you pray, not matter what religion please slip in a little prayer. If we beat this team you might see us with the state title. When this happens, you can say : hey i slipped a little prayer in for them or thought about them winning.
