Question - Xfer logs (in General)

I was looking at my transfer log, and selected "show all" but noticed it doesn't "show all". It shows some stuff from here and there, but not every single transaction since January 1st. Just wondering why.

And my second question is, what stays in there and what goes?

i think it only shows the transfers from the name u currently have. if you change ur name, the transfer log isnt cleared but it only shows the xfers you have made with the new name...

A third question :-P there is no way to see all transactions whatsoever?

like community -> transfer log ?

no... a log that would show transfers from before the 2 month period or whatever

Jon might keep an archive of transfers someplace for use by the admins. But there's only so much space on the server and a lot of transfers every day. So I doubt there's any way you can access that info without a really good reason.

if logs were kept for every user since they started it would need it's own drive, and it would need to be huge.


So, no it is not a good idea and it is useless.
