Just of of curiosity, what type of surface was that made on?

Arorrr December 5 2005 12:47 PM EST

Look like rough paper?

BrandonLP December 5 2005 12:49 PM EST

Taco Bell napkin.

someone else been playing meier's pirates or port royal or something?

Mem December 5 2005 1:01 PM EST

I've kissed mermaids, rode the El Nino.

I'm not real sure what kind of paper it was made on, but one of my friends (who is infinitely more talented than myself as these things go) made it for me since I love pyrates so much. And my love for pyrates certainly predates any video game ever created on the subject.

Looks like a charcoal and pastel painting.

In all actuality, the picture, to me, should be set to 'Wave of Mutilation' by Pixies (and that would explain the title of the thread and the part about kissing mermaids as those are lyrics to the song).

Styx is alright, but not what I had in mind. And that doesn't look anything quite like I'd imagine the River Styx would look, which was the river in question that the 'Come Sail Away' song was set.

wow, lol i learned more about the styx there, than i ever knew... lol you really got your facts down :D
