equipment to counterattack a ToBF (in General)

Hi!

I am fighting a team based on a Tank with a ToBF (sefton), he his about my PR, and he crushes me with its ToBF, while he is totally unable to touch me otherwise (due to my EC)

I would like to know if there is a way to lower the effects of the ToBF (I have a ToE) without changing my team.

Heh, anybody else you talk to will tell you the ToBF is very under-powered. So maybe you just need to change your strat, I'll take a look at it in a second.

Taking the melee weapons off of your Enchanter/Tanks would help. Do they really do that much damage with such small Strength?

my three enchanters do about the same damage as my tank. But what kills my tank is the ToBF, it does about 20,000 wounds each round to everybody.

without the ToBF, I have no damage, due to my EC.

the 4 rounds I take no damage, while killing its first minions. then in four more rounds, my whole team is trashed by the ToBF. I suspect he has a much larger ToBF than my own ToE.

I think you will have to learn to live with the fact that your strat is vulnerable to the ToBF.

stop reading my mind ... or at least .. don't believe what it tells you :)

I take my own advice BTW Max tattoo: 282,620 on Sefton ;)

Your strat is ToBF dream. 4 mini-tank.Very little Dex and rely on EC to do multiple hit. Your little str does not do good for you.

Ofcouse, you will be annihilated by ToBF. ToBF was put in to counter 4T team in CB1.

What you need is large STR/DEX to do multiple hits very rounds and finish the ToBF in less rounds. Remember ToBF only backfire 1 per round.

P.S. you are not alone in your vulnearability so don't feel bad

Sefton, I don't feel bad. You have a good team, I have a good one too.

I have found a solution to stop you fighting me and lowering my clan score. I removed one weapon on one enchanter.

Do you know what happens? Since you are unable to hurt me, one of my enchanter remains at the end of the fight!

result: a stalemate! so you will no longer fight me! I am happy!

Could the admins change the rules and define a stalemate at the 24th round?

I will give my insight to your team.

You are playing tanks and no VA.
You are playing having 4 minions and no AS.
You have 1 good tank and 3 enchanter-would-like-to-be-tanks. It is better to play 2 good tanks and 2 pure enchanters. (Maybe you just need a really good weapon on your last minion. If I may suggest VB or BoTH around 4 mil NW would do the trick.)
