Looking for a little strat advice (in General)

I've been thinking about adding an enchanter to my group. Right now I have a tank-archer and a FB mage (boo, I know).

What I was thinking is either a Dispel Magic/Protection enchanter or maybe an Ethereal Chains/Ablative Shield enchanter. I figure I'll buy a RoE for the enchanter right when I add him to my group so he can play catch up with my other monions.

I'm not sure if this is even a good idea, I'm pretty new to the CB world, so any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

well, you can't have both an RoE and a fire familiar...they are both tattoos and you can only have one tattoo per character.

Adding another minion will make your Tank weaker in long run against other Tanks, because exp will be split amongst more minions and your Tank ST and DX will rise slower.

I think 2 minions is cool for now and you can use Enchantments also on these 2 minions.

I would suggest ToE tattoo equipped on Mage. This way you won't need to train that much HP as you should be training now, and could put more exp to DX on Tank and DD spell on Mage. ToE will give you great amount of damage reduction, also on your AMF backfire, because nearly anyone uses AMF.

I would go later with MM instead of FB, because you won't receive splash damage and MM kicks in the second round of ranged combat.

As a weapon, I would focus now to get a good katana, don't bother with armor right now. Later you can get BoTH or Vorpal.

And I would change Archery to BL.

As for enchantments, I would not put any until 50k - 100k MPR, just focus on DX, HP on Tank (a little ST of course, but you don't need that much of ST than DX), little HP and DD spell on mage are a priority.

And if you will be at 100k MPR, would add DM to Tank and VA to Mage. (In long run you will be able to get Protection and AMF, but that would come in looooong run.)
