new player same ip address (in Public Record)

my daughter wants to play CB2 after watching me play. How can she set up an account and not get me booted for the same ip address? I know that we can not share or transfer items, but is that the only stipulation? Thank you!!!

it is my understanding that you can set up the account for your daughter, and as long as you make a public record of it (like you are right now) and you don't make any transfers between the two of you, then you can both play! might want to wait for an admin stamp of approval just to be sure, but you'll probably be ok. good luck to your daughter, with her NUB! :P

Chatmail Ranger or G_Beee, and have them post here giving the ok.

I chat mailed Ranger and awaiting a response. My daughter said thanks for the good luck in advance.

Why do people keep making these public record posts?
If your daughter names herself bstral; chooses the same strategy, the same character portrait and happens to have exactly the same writing style in forum or chat, no post will help you ;)
On the other hand, if your daughter appears to be a separate person: making her own choices, responding in her own way, then you 2 should not have any troubles at all playing here.

PS. Astral, this post is not directed at you; I'm just getting a bit tired from all these posts and the value people put into it...

Bart, most of us aren't as wise and all knowing as you are when it comes to the secret goings on of the full admins. ;)

Best anyone can do is make their intentions clear if they're concerned that they may be borderline of breaking the rules. In other words, making these posts helps people to check that what they're doing is ok. It also prevents them from eventually being confronted by some random person who noticed their same IP and posted a "____ is a multi!" thread.
