i am on a very restricted computer. i can still download things just depending on the link. when i goto download java so i can use chat i get access denied because of firewall. i have downloaded things before so i am looking for different links or help.

i can still go on web messenger(web based MSN messenger)
mine doesn't seem to mind chat : P

Sounds simple to me, take a look into your firewalls manual and learn how to configure it. If you're not allowed to change anything, hmm, there must be good reasons why it is the way it is.
If you just don't have the right Java try this link:

Get the JRE. Very unlikely someone blocks sun.com.
Last thing I can think of that you put carnageblender.com to your trusted sites, I remember an option in IE somewhere.
