don't have any one-sided transfers, make all deals with your brother fair and public by posting in the public record, and don't play on each others accounts.

The best thing you can do aside from announcing this news in the public record forum is to make sure you don't make one-sided trades between each other.
It is very tempting to go ahead and give your "brother", "sister", "best friend", "mother", or "dentist" a leg up with some extra cash or supplies, but don't do it. Besides, the best thing you can do for a new player is to give them solid advice. You can make "fair" trades that are not one-sided, but the fairness of a trade is iffy and so you might as well just not trade between each other 99% of the time.
As I've been told, if you are not the same person, you wont be banned (how the admins know this, I don't know. Jedi mind trick maybe...).
Just keep transfers fairly even, stay off each others accounts and you've got nothing to worry about.
