Okay guys. See if you can help me out, especially PC IE users.
Paste this in the custom theme field:

Issue need fixing: Chat header screwing up chat.

Very nice theme, I would most assuredly use it were it a permanent theme.

Thanks Matrim =D.
Hmm... how to get rid of the header thing in the chat frame... I hope I don't piss people off by leaving/joining the room too much, trying to do as little as possible!

Haha, spoke too soon. Guess its better I'm kicked out now, I can test without bothering people =D. Do I remain kicked out even if I reload chat?

Pixel, you can go to settings and change the chat room you start in (change it to something other than NP or Carnage).
That way the refreshes won't bother anyone. :)

Thanks for the advice people =D

Okay, I made a minor change to the front page. Took out an ugly gradient, and now we have nice, solid colors!

Oh, another thought... and sorry for triple posting, there's no magic edit button for me.
I still really need to hear from PC IE testers. If you're on a PC and you have IE, please see how this theme works out on it. I hopefully fixed something that caused the background to be all black.

You did fix the background issue in IE, but the in any of the dropdowns the background color is black.

New change: Smaller text in text area and other places; compact design
@Matrim: Thanks for testing that. Are the pulldown menus looking better now or still messed up?

Would you mind to reduce the font size of the optgroup element(it is cool in IE, but not firefox)? And maybe increase the width of the bullet.gif by 1-3 transparent pixels on the right side, so it's not so close to the text. And the font of the opponent/party select lists are a bit too large at the moment, at least different to other select boxes.

The pull downs are all still black in IE.

Matrim, did you clear your cache and reload http://cb.dontpanic.nl/Swift/cb.css ? I'm about to sue Microsucks for incompetancy. Oh, and Ranger said the pulldown list was fine, don't know what's up.
PoisoN: I moved the pixels in bullet.gif one pixel to the left. I can't resize it because the HTML calls for a specific size for the image. If I put in a new image with a larger size, it'll just resize back to the old size. And what's optgroup? As for the opponent list, it should be back to normal now. I made it bigger on Ranger's request, but its back down now =D

Hmm, made some refreshs of the sidebar, still big enough to let the log out/ delete/ edit/ specify vanish behind the main frame(only FF).
Optgroup is the element in a list box used to show the NW of each item. Again, cool on IE, ugly bold + large in FF.
And the small graphic/ banner above Carnage Blender >> Subpage >> ... (again on the main frame) is only displayed in IE, not FF.
Btw. I like the bullet.gif now :)

I just hard-refreshed my IE window and it looks good now. The css might have been cached.

PoisoN: Alright, the opponent list is now nice and compact. HAPPY?! jk =P. I'll play with the Optgroup soon. I'll check out the third thing on your list, and I'm glad my special bullets have made you happy =D
Matrim: w00t! Swift is now in full working order. Now, to spam Jonathan with a 5th PM...

I wish the text would sometimes be more colorful...
and not always black...
and make it more readable

Any suggestions on coloring?

I like the color you used for showing negative and positive HP...
maybe more use of them :-)

I can do a subtle color change to the generic black text, but using those colors may confuse people a bite. I think I'll try a degree of blue.
looks good. IE user here - no obvious problems I can see

Alright. I want to see if anyone else has an opinion on text coloring. I like the black text, and don't know of any other color for text that would look decent (blue may get confused with links, even if its not underlined).
If I get no responses or most are fine with black text as the main color, then likely no further changes will be made to Swift, and it will go to Jon for official approval.

I've honestly been a fan of red text for negative HP. In swift, I think a dark red unbolded font would be best (instead of the current purple)
