Idea for New Feature: Statistic of Score/PR ratio for characters of 50 (in General)

Peter at home January 11 2006 6:51 PM EST

I would like to ask if it is possible to make a Score/PR ratio statistic for characters of 500k+ PR. This way we would be able to see which strategies overall more efficient then others.

Why 500k+ PR?
Because I believe that beyond that level strategies are already mature enough for this kind of comparison.

I'd like to ask Jon if it is possible to do and if he would be willing to make it, since it is change month.

What do you people think about it?

Q: Please add a score:power ratio stat

A: People who don't give the matter much thought might easily conclude that score:power ratio is a good measure of how effective a strategy is. However, there are several factors that skew this stat so much towards the low end that it would be entirely useless. Some of the more obvious such include high NW and decay.

They high NW arguement doesn't really apply now does it?

That is why I am proposing it to have it from 500k+ PR, in order not to have the low end screw the statistics in the first place.

NW... I am not sure it is now and issue, since it is calculated as additional PR over MPR.

Decay: As it is written, it is the most powerful and at the same time the least powerful spell, but it does not kill alone, so I am not sure how Decay would screw the statistics. I would like to hear some thoughts from the community on NW and Decay.
