ToE AMF reduction by Aura too high? (in General)

Hi all, I think my ToE is providing too much of an AMF reduction from it's aura.

I've got a base decay on my Wall and 300,378 HPs. My Tattoo is (with 4% naming increase) level 496,465.

With no tattoo, the first round of 100% AMF backlash does 60,075. This conforms with the AMF formula we know for Decay backlash, AMF% * .4 * .5 * HP at time of casting.

1 * .4 * .5 * 300378 = 60,075.6

With my ToE I took 45,653 damage from AMF backlash instead. a difference of 14,422.6

A ToE provides 5.75% of it's level as AMF backlash reduction, so should provide 1.92% (Aura effects are 1/3 of wearers) of it's level to my Wall, or a reduction of 9532.1

I'm actually receiving 2.9% of the tattoos level as aura based AMF backlash reducion, which is more than the 1/3 the aura should give.

Unless the ToE's reduction has been increased...

I believe it has been boosted to 1/2.

ToE wearer effect was lowered and ToE aura effect was increased.

Right, I'm asking for help here, I can't get my AMF backlash damage to fit. No tattoo.

How can the smallest AMF% do the most backlash damage? >_<

Right AMF backlash damage for CoC is;

Backlash = Effect x AMF% x 5 x .4

So, for a CoC of 693,876 (124,833) facing a AMF of 25% I reveiced 62,416 damage.

124833 * .25 * 5 * .4 =62416.5 :)

With my ToE (496,569) I took 37,688 damage. A reduction of 24,728. Which is 5% of my ToE level.

5% is the pre increase amount ToE used to reduce AMT backlash by and as pointed out to me, they were recently changed back to this level.

In that case the aura AMF reduction should be 1.7% of its level.

I think the aura reduction is working fine! ;)

Of course I don't really mean 1.7%...

Half of 5% is 2.5 and I'm seeing a 2.9% reduction, which is more than half..
