Strat Help (in General)

Hey all! I hate to be annoying and always ask for advice, but Im a legit newb and I cannot foresee the competition in the higher-ups. Anyways, lets get down to business.

My main problem is that I haven't decided on a tat. I don't really want to do a ToA because I spent all of my money on armor for my tank, so I was thinking ToE or maybe even a familiar of some sort.

Now that leaves me with my real question, should my 4th minion be an enchanter or a wall? Or no 4th minion at all? I mean an enchanter would be nice, because I lack DM for VA but thats not really a big problem for me yet. I was thinking about maybe doing a wall with a small DM. Put the tat on my enchanter or mage... probably mage, because the damage reduction would be more effective.

Any input?

Have you considered a RoS on your AS enchanter? It'll boost your AS and lessen the amounts others DM will reduce it by.

Ehh, have considered the RoS thing, but I don't know. I would probably use an RoS if I make my 4th minion an enchanter (probably DM/GA). However, it would be awhile until they had enough EXP to be effective. Plus, I'm waiting for my NCB to do the AS/RoS thing! ;p

:) ToA and ToE had been mentioned, but the RoS had been left out. I'm still not a fan of the RBF, but a IF might be another choice. Although I'm not sure if two CoC s would be the best choice.

A ToE and a wall would be good additions to your strat, the combination of ToE aura and high ac/HP is great, especially against FB mages. The dilution of their attack on a ToE wall has to be seen to be believed.

However I would advise against a 4th minion for the moment. If you're relying on earned XP to build your tank's stats the 4th minion would lessen his growth and you want a tank to be as strong as you can make him.

If you do add a wall don't put any enchantments on it at all. The whole point of a wall is that concentrated HP. And they work best with a mage shield which leaves you with no enchantments anyway, except for base protection.

But GL's broken record is good advice too. The RoS on your enchanter would increase your AS and protect your VA to a certain degree.

Dreky here's my advice, hire the fourth minion as an enchanter train AMF and GA or DM your choice untrain AMF from Clea The White Mage and retrain it into your AS. With your RoE on the new enchanter he'll catch up quick then you can decide what tat to switch to. thats my 2 cents worth. :)
