Pretty straight forward. I remember at one time the newer versions of java were having problems running chat. I'm in the middle of having FF auto d/l Java, will I have issues?

Nope, i did the same thing, the only thing you will have to get used to is the non-scrolling aspect..

shoot, no I can roll back to a specific version.
CB vets, I know there is a version of java that runs chat great, what is it?

I think it is 1.5 updated version... the regular version is the one that will not allow your chat to scroll

The first release of 1.5 had problems. Sun fixed this in later releases. So just get the most recent version and you'll be fine.
