Just take a look at this!
It was made by a women Claire works with (who also made our wedding cake) who really should give up her day job and do this proffessionally!
The cake is two layers, both chocolate, the bottom the same style as our wedding cake, the top chocolate sponge. All the decoration is edible, made from icing. The core of the volcano has been hollowed out and filled with marzipan 'lava'.
Claire bought it in with lit sparklers to give the Dragon fire breathing breath! :D (and to make the volcano look like it was errupting!)
(I have a thing for dragons!)

There's something there that looks suspiciously like melted gummy worms, no? ;)
Right, just checked. The lava on the outside is made from edible gel.
