Talking dinosaurs... how unrealistic. The silliness that Hollywood dreams up is astounding.
Now where did I leave my H.R. Puffnstuff dvd? :P

You're telling me that Jim Henson has dreamt up silliness with this series? I think not. If you had watched the show then you'd have realized that it was merely an intriguing way to present this social commentary. The dinosaur aspect was irrelevant, unless you were a child.
If you thought this show was in any way silly then I'd advise you to re-watch it (and stop being so 'grown-up' that you can't enjoy people dressed up as dinosaurs bringing you a message that still resounds today). And if you aren't willing to spend the $39.99 (S.R.P.) to buy it, then try your darndest to at least rent it. May 2nd is the day!
P.S. Jessica Walter (Lucille Bluth of Arrested Development) is the voice of Earl's wife, so how is it possible for this show to be bad?

Wow. I used to watch that on TV. I had completely forgotten about it. I don't remember it being especially good...

Mem, you obviously did not read my post that carefully.
You really need to turn off the "Read everything PK posts with utmost seriousness" meter.
