Is it a real house and not just a model? Are they real fruit? Where is it?

Mem February 13 2006 1:57 PM EST

Of course no one lives in it. It was made for some festival in southern France. Where exactly, I do not know.

And there are people all over the planet starving at the same time. :P

th00p February 13 2006 3:43 PM EST

Oh man, we should stick some Oompa-Loompas in there!

chappy [Soup Ream] February 13 2006 3:44 PM EST

@th00p - that could be the next photo contest :)

I can't wait till all that rots.

Now, that is just freaky. I half expect a Giant Fruit Fly to wander out of that door. lol

NSFY February 13 2006 7:31 PM EST

That house is garish. Also, the windows don't look like they are made out of fruit unless you are counting fruit roll-ups. Stupid fruit house! You can't even see through fruit roll-ups.

My house is made of green gum-drops and was built by happy little leprechauns. The spearmint aroma is intoxicating.

What do you do about ants?

(that's better than furniture made of FedEx boxes, Mem!)

(for the record, spellcheck has no problem with FedEx)

Xiaz on Hiatus February 13 2006 8:29 PM EST

I think he hires an army of Echidnas or Aardvarks!

TheEverblacksky February 13 2006 8:58 PM EST

That's my house dude.

CmdrHawkeye February 14 2006 10:53 AM EST

wow thats alot of citric acid.... very tropical....i like it but I bet that is going to stink to high heaven when it rots.

NSFY February 14 2006 11:42 AM EST

Ants don't like spearmint (duh!). They like Juicy Fruit!
