Hey guys,

Some of you may know that a friend of mine, John Skinner, took his life a few months ago at the Golden Gate Bridge. I'm working with some people to compile his music and others' contributions on two CD's, and they had me do the art.

I did most of the 3D modeling in a day, then took another day to edit it in photoshop and all. Just showcasing it in CB for no particular reason really... yeah, I have know idea why I'm showing all of you. Guess I just happen to like the CB community that much.

Very nice work, and sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Your work seems to be a very good tribute to him.

Thanks. Someone CM'ed me and asked if displaying the place where he took his own life is the best thing to put there... thoughts?

It's definitely a dark image but I think it's fitting and not really inappropriate. Good work.

it's not a good thing. More like a happy place of him and friends. a very special place

It depends whether you are going for a solemn remembrance or nostalgic embrace.

A friend commented similar to what I mentioned earlier by someone... the cover should be more about his life, not the end of it.
