pick a fight (in Contests)
Welcome to the troll pit, a series of terrible contests I'll be doing.
The purpose is to expose the methods trolls use to drag out lame
threads...trolling is bad ummm kay.
Prize : 50k
Scene: a typical gaming forums off-topic section, an asbestos keyboard
clattering away with malignant glee.
Give me your best title and thread starter for a flame war du jour.
As always keep it PG and don't get personal, unless it's about me**.
The less political the better, we all know how to start one of
those threads. Be creative, take a stand!

Top Characters will be auto-reset.
The post:
After very careful consideration, the top 50 characters will be reset. All items and cash will be sent to Central Bank. This is due to a bug that has allowed the top players to benefit from an unfair bonus to their rewards (for an extensive period of time). NUB users were not affected by the bug. Novice will be reset and banned, as it seems he has been exploiting this bug on purpose, rather than accidentally.
The outcome:
Man, if this really happened, CB would implode upon itself. LOL.

Can't we try for a contest, that's a bit more .. I dunno, intellgent? I dunno about you, but I was out of the 5th grade about say ... 15 years ago? I mean, comeon .... if you want attention, stick your nose where all the others that get attention do. I won't say what that is to avoid "breaking your precious rules", but the color for the day, is brown.

at the hands of Novice, who has been running a sophisticated multi-NUB-CB2$4USD scam which has nearly destroyed the entire economy of the game. I won't name any more names, but it's going to be really obvious when you see how many of the familiar 'big-USD spenders' have been banned. To combat further such abuses, a new policy has been instated which allows the admins to track down and torture multis. Novice will obviously be the first example. Pictures soon to come. Here's a classic example of some loser gratuitously using French in an attempt to sound clever, but can't even spend the time to look up the proper spelling of du jour, one of the most commonly used phrases. Naturally, the Novice's complete ignorance of la belle langue makes him appear even more like an imbécile.
We need to promote the use of French in our forums, to reduce the instances of such stupidité, and to prevent the loss of la langue française sur l'Internet. I propose that all forums titles and threads must written in both French and English, with French appearing first, naturally in a larger font.
Anyone who refuses is racist, a hater of the French, and should immediately be banned form the game!
(Note: no offense to Novice or others intended; this is simply for the sake of the contest.)

- Due to the conflict between Top-ranked players and NUB/NCB'rs, I have decided to shut down sign-ups for CB2 and re-open CB1. I will leave cb2 running for as long as there are a few people playing it. Sorry for the trouble this may have caused.

Multi: Bartjan, The Saint, G Beee, Shade, Vestax, Special J / Novice
Bartjan, The Saint, G Beee, Shade, Vestax, and Special J have turned out to be a multi of Novice, who was disciplined once for multi-ing already. Merged the 6 accounts into the Novice account.
I have seen no further evidence for any secondary multis. I will keep an eye on the account if it spawns multis again.
Are you people really this stupid? I mean, after the millions of multi posts, did nobody think that an admin would be a multi? For all of the multi hunters: why didn't you check the admins? Come on, admins are pretty much legal multis since they can log on as anyone!
Update: Novice created 3 MORE accounts after this posting. Banned Bast, Sutekh, and PirateKing. Do it again, and you're IP banned; I'm running out of patience!
