Vestax is going to sue Jon (in Off-topic)

At almost precisely 12:00 AM on February 22, 2006 Jon's server deliberately denied me access to CB. This loss of game play, which lasted an entire 25 minutes, was most damaging to my CB career. The total of this damage is described as follows.

First, my BA was capped at 160 at 11:50. At which time I bought my remaining 40 BA. I was then denied entry to the game up until 12:25 AM and with only 160 BA. A massive loss of 54 BA.

Second, this problem was compounded by not only the loss of money and xp, but of also very valuable clan points, which translates into some other valuable thing.

Third, the money that paid for the bought BA before the denial of service was not returned or refunded. This amounts to a loss of $15,720 in CB cash without anything to compensate for it.

Forth, the loss of such precious resources has ensured a complete denial of my rightful place at the top spot here at CB. I require that you pay for the mental anguish which is associated with never being number one.

Fifth, is the 25 minutes of life lost, which will never be return and cannot be compensated for. For this you will pay the highest price of all, the price of something that is priceless.

This is just a forewarning of the long and (hopefully) painful (for you) legal proceedings to come. I'm very disappointed in you Mr. and my lawyer, Lionel Hutz, is going to take you down!

And one more thing... I want my 2 cents back as well!

Don't blame Jon. It was George W Bush, the CIA, the NSA and the Department of Homeland Security blocking your access to the server while they were checking to see it you know any terrorist. =)
Jon has no way of stopping this so just be glad it wasn't worse.

Vestax, can you wait 'til it happens on a more "global" scale, then make it a class-action suit? I'd like a cut of the winnings.

Perhaps, Jon should ban you, so you don't have to worry about even needing to log in anymore? I think that sounds like a fair plan, what you say Vestax? ;)

I feel your pain, Vestax. At almost exactly 12am last night, I tried to logon to CB so that I could finish off my BA and go to bed. But I couldn't.

I was forced to sit around doing nothing for almost a half hour before I was able to logon, then I had that much more BA to burn, and then I got drawn into the forums for a while.

I ended up getting to bed a full hour later than I had intended. Jon owes me an hour's sleep, and compensation for my lack of productivity today that is a result of said loss of sleep.

Vestax, I've already discussed this with Lionel Hutz, and he feels that if we can find just a few more people similarly affected, we'd have a sure win in the courts! Any more testimonials?

LoL, and here i was ruing the day this computer was made, thinking it was my comp's fault. Heh i just kept retyping the url over and over and over....lol I was determined.

On a sidenote, isn't the definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result....? hehe ^_~

I've considered suing Jon on many occasions. Where is our 'health warning' - 'CB may be hazardous to your health'; 'CB may cause repetitive strain injury' 'CB may cause your Significant Other to view you in an entirely new light, proclaiming "Where is the man I married? When I said I do, I didn't mean I do Geek"

I had back surgery last wednesday now that is pain, but i am off topic, Everyone seems to want to sue these days, but hey if it is the only way to get you 2 cents back sue'em.
