why do people bid the minimum if they are not going to win? wouldnt it only make sense to make a reasonable bid on it instead of waiting for that annoying message to pop up in the home page?
(those are very annoying, especially when u bid 4 times on the same item within 2 minutes)

People want to get the best price for an item, and if nobody sees it or doesn't bid on it, the person who bid on it for the minimum price might get a nice grab.
i dont know... there is no way 12-24 hours can pass by and no one realize there is a rare at a low price.
