Since I'm sure others are wondering too, this is roughly what I said to kefeck.
Tournies take up a considerable amount of my time and CB cash. If someone wants to front the money then I might consider handling all the HTML, enforcement, updates, and use some of my sub-admin powers to correct character prefixes and edit the rules or tables to be more accurate.
However, I notice that the same amount of money it takes to get people to play could easily make a greater number of people happier with many smaller contests that don't involve them spending their BA. This last tourney had 3.8 mill in cash prizes and over 6 mil in NW for item prizes. I know of, and have run, many contests with greater popularity, lesser rewards offered, lesser effort involved, and greater feelings of fulfillment afterwards.
I regret to say that I currently have no plans to do another. I'd rather be playing and I honestly feel that I had a good chance of winning the last two. I feel robbed of the tourney experience.
If someone else is willing to take over from here then by all means do so. Feel free to copy anything I have done or to ask for my help. Also, if you do plan on running tourney 3 then you should announce it rather then keep it to yourself. You would surely receive many donations from the helpful people who care, thus making the impact to yourself minimal and prizes much more enticing.
