Lesser or Greater Tattoo (in General)

So should i continue using my lesser balrog tattoo or should i get a greater one. I have 8K. Is that enough for one?

Use it while you save for a greater. Normal Balrog tattoos have gone for as little as 80k in auctions. Save about 100k and you should be able to afford one, if they show in auction. Alternatively you can post in FS/WTB forums to see if anybody has one for sale.

Alternatively you could just carry on using your lesser. It will obviously grow more slowly than a full one but otherwise it has the same effect as a full.

But, can you win your battles without it? Test this: Unequip your tattoo and see if you beat the same people without it. Do this within a five minute time period otherwise you won't be able to re-equip it for 8 hours!

If you find being tattoo-less makes no difference then you might be better off trying a different tattoo. For your strategy changing the Balrog to a Tattoo of Endurance on the mage might be a good idea. Also a Tattoo of Augmentation on the tank would work.

However just to step away from tattoos for a moment, you may find as your team grows that fireball on your mage isn't the best idea. Once you reach melee rounds your mage will hurt your own team with 'friendly fire'. You may want to consider magic missile or cone of cold.
