[Silly] Question about Tattoos (in General)

OK, just thinking aloud here.
Anything that increases the strategy required for the game is good, right?
If tattoos diluted XP gains, would there not be more of a trade-off (read strategic decision) between armour and tattoos?
Just wondering really where Jon's decision came from for the 'no dilution' thing?

Would probably just make it so that single team grew even faster then multiple minion teams. Would depend on the dilution but either way you would just hurt multiple minion teams even more.

Okay just to make sure this is out there as well... Tattoos do not receive experience the way minions do. In a way they receive free experience on top of what your minions get. RoE on the other hand grants more exp to your minion that has it equipped.

Because of this free experience, you are wasting some resources when you do not use a tattoo, or use a lesser tattoo.

That is definitely the best part of using a tattoo with your minions. Eventually that experience adds up on your minions and you can either use the tattoo for a character or for trading for some serious cash.

I think that's my point.
By making the experience not 'free', you are forcing a choice of whether to use a tattoo or not.
Tats on single minion teams would grow a lot faster than 4-minions, but would take more experience off the minions.
