Clutching at straws but ... (in Off-topic)

... does anyone here play Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion on LapTop I am having problems with the Video on it - even though it passes the tests and sets it down to Medium Res when I start the games and I am in prison - everything is white apart from some objects are just about visible but appear almost as 'ghosts'

Any ideas ?

Have you tried updating the drivers for the video card.
I had to do this recently on my laptop even though it was brand new.
Might be worth a shot.

Thats what was happening to me. Right before it goes white the frame below his chin kinda freezes to?


Its a video card problem. At least thats what i assumed. I looked into it and my card wasnt good enough to play it. You sure yours is?

Also, i didnt try to update my driver.
