Problems Viewing Auctions in Firefox (in General)

Hi,

When I click on say Auctions -> Rare Items, I get the list of all the rare item auctions going. But when I click on an item to get more information/bid on it, the left frame gets resized all the way to the right side of the screen, and when I drag it back, there has been no change and I still see just the list of auctions. Thus I can't place any bids!

I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.2. I don't have this problem with any other part of the site, just when I try to view a specific ongoing auction. When I switch to IE it works fine, but I hate IE. Does anyone else have this problem or know of a solution? Thanks.

I have no problems using Firefox.

It's probably an option set somewhere, or maybe one of my extensions. I don't really want to go through them all to test though, so I'm hoping someone else might know why this occurs.

I also find it weird that it only occurs when I try to view an auction, and not on any other part of CB.

I've had this issue before. Likely the problem is that you are using the Adblock extension. If you have Adblock Plus, you can add a site to the whitelist. If this is the case, all you need to do is add carnageblender.com to the whitelist and it should stop blocking auctions. It seems that the auctions use a common ad regex pattern in their URL... oh well. Can't win them all.
