Why? Because it is in this same book that it is said,
Leviticus 20:13
"If a man has sexual intercourse with a male as one has sexual intercourse with a woman, the two of them have committed an abomination. They must be put to death; their blood guilt is on themselves."
So if you are going to put forth the righteousness of the latter, I will do the same with the issue of the former, there are FAR too many disrespectful children out there and we could use a culling of the herd. ;)
