I have a lot of exp tied up in CoC . how do I use it effectively to get max points... do I just keep dumping exp. in to it or do I need strat change? Any help would be useful. Thank you.
You need both HP and some form of damage resistance, Get a ToE and at least one Wall minion wearing a TSA and an MgS.

PL on a CoC mage is silly anyways. It doesn't fire until melee, so you want it in back.
PL will redirect the damage to it, so drop that please.
go Fire, Water, Air, and drop the PL. Or untrain MM on Fire and train more into the enchantments, and train some into PL on him.
but still keep it the same Fire, Water, Air.
Start with one mage, one tank, one enchater....ditch GS.
