So you have some extra gear laying around.... (in General)

OK, first I realize this post may get this hole plugged, but that is OK it's not that big of a hole. But until it is, I have the best farm to make for all the extra gear you have from restarting you NCB character. Notice this is a farm, it has one big restriction that forces it to be a farm, but it puts idle gear to use at no cost to you.

From all the testing I could do, it appears at base MPR (no trained exp) Armor NW does not add to PR at any level. As soon as you start training exp, the NW the armor adds to your PR starts to grow, the more you train, the more the NW creates a gap between MPR and PR. Until you train, however, you can stick 100 million NW in armor on him and your PR will be the same. (on a single minion that is 1/1 PR/MPR with 100mil NW armor on him)

OK weapons you are not so lucky and with this NW leveraged all to heck on the armor side, it seems to be more so impactful adding weapons, but that could be incorrect. Regardless, you HAVE to put a base weapon on them. I use a base Kat or base Exec. I tried a base compound bow, but 100 x1+0 arrows add PR using this system, but you really do not need it.

In the end, you can put so much AC on the guy, that no one near him can hurt him, no one in the same stratosphere can hurt him. My 3 minion base MPR team with 13 PR beat a team with a score of over 2K and PR over 2K. A victory over 200 times greater than my opponent PR. Basically every result is either a win or a stalemate. But as a farm this is great! So you never train exp on the guy, he either wins or stalemates every fight, so thats a small amount of money I realize and a small amount of exp added, but what was that gear doing for your mule anyway. As I tell my kids, .000000001% is a billion times greater than 0.

Anyway, check out N00B Mk 1 and his fight list if you do not believe me. I call this the Landmine farm stat.

Oh the restriction. After 1 minion gets over 1K untrained exp on him, you will find it IMPOSSIBLE to fight with him. You have to train it or you will be unable to fight. I cannot fight with N00B Mk 1 right now, but that is OK its free money and free exp for gear that was just taking space on my no minion having mule.

P.S. if you are starting out and you accidently fight a Landmine farm you will find out how bad it can be to see hit for no damage from your minions for 20 rounds as base DX and base Katana pull off just a few tiny lucky strikes for the win ;)

:D Nice!

As for the XP, train it so you can fight again, and untrain it until you lose it all! ;)

At the low levels I always make a note to know who I am fighting. Besides, this is close to old news. I did know that Armor PR scaled with your MPR, just not to the extent to which you describe.

Wouldn't VPR get to be a problem?

Oh, and I'm very glad to see you back to your strategy posts, Sefton! :)

VPR will be a problem as in your will get decreasing scales of rewards, yes, but otherwise no. Again, its not about the ultimate strat or anything, its about the best way to leverage gear laying on a mule. And its the most effective farm in the sense that if you stalemate them, they will not fight you, if you beat them, they may keep fighting you to see if they can eventually beat you, and since you never lose, well its the most efficient type of farm because you get no rewards for losses and reduced rewards for draws. For every BA spent on fighting your farm, you either make them go away, or make them want to keep fighting you while losing.

I should not say never lose, but anyone who can beat you gets such bad rewards, its a waste of their hard earned BA :)

Anyway, I just found myself with a bunch of gear laying around, and said, there has to be something better than the hassle of rentals, this is what I ended up with :)

If it's decent enough to rent out, you should rent it out, even if you rent it cheaply, it's not going to make you as much money sitting there as it would if you rented it out below value of other rentals of the same type. The CML's aren't the best of rentals so you can keep them there. :)
