Another joy of using PL with a RoBF (in General)
That I have just realised.
Stick the PL user behind the RoBF user. When facing tanks, you don't need to train DM to stop their VA healing back what the RoBFs aura does to them.
As they hit the tattoo wearer, PL absorbs the damage, *which doesn't allow VA leech*, so the tanks VA is useless.
Even if you have nothing trained in DM.
Substitute the RoBF with GA and you free yourself up to use a RoS...
Pl is the turd in the bucket skill, you name it and Pl hoses it.
Pl hoses GA as well though.
Better yet, (I assume) it will also stop the 20% leech from a BoTH or MH, which DM wouldn't be able to touch anyway.
Hmmm... Should every team train some PL? Is there a reason (bar being a single minion, but then I'd go for DD tattoo + PL minion) not to train PL?
I guess the most overpowered char (well the char using the most overpowered stuff) would be a single minion fb mage, wearing a TSA, training pl, and secretly hiding a FF in his back pocket
It does stop the leach of MH and BoTH along with Axbow and Exbow. It stops VA as well. I am sure the idea behind PL is whichever minion has PL will die much quicker and obviously first so it will not be that overpowered. But against tanks, slap PL on a high AC MgS wielding wall or put something impossible to hit, like a UC or Evasion minion in front and tanks are sunk. Unless of course you have a 100M NW weapon, then you might miss a few and hit a few.
"might"
Pl was added to give a counter to the few things that didn't have a direct negation via xp or nw. It does too much, and needs to be changed.
True. if you really want to make PL overpowered, stick a ToE on someone so now if something gets hit, the ToE reduces 14% of the damage of its level and PL reduces 10% of the damage also. So someone hits you for 200k and you have a 1M lvl ToE and PL. you hit them for 200 * .9 - (1M * .14) = 40k. A PL minion will of course eat that damage up and lost throughout the battle since PL minion generally have higher HP. That is if you hit them for 200k and have a relatively small ToE and good old PL.

GL you really hate me beating you huh lol naw sorry bout that but yeah i noticed that too if only my minions were equal in exp my strat would work great lol
I say turn the PL into a defensive enchantment! That will fix it right quick!
:P It's not so much a hate, as I can't figure a way around it with a single minion. :/
DD = AMF
Tanks = Dex/Evasion
GA = AC and HP
(With VA to help lessen anything that does get through)
RoBF + PL. There's nothing I can see to counter it. Ranged damage?
Does the RoBF aura damage last after the wearing minion dies? I know the ToE's does, so I assume the same counts for the RoBF.
But 'damage' isn't really an answer. Everything gets stopped by enough damage. ;)

Counter? MM? Sometimes counters are very specific, yes.

GL, I just hit your 'favourite' char. The RBF minion died in ranged. But the aura was still there. And, actually I think that is what happens with the ToE.... a while since I played multi minion though.....
MM. :) In this case that's stopped by a rear MgS minion with PL to soak up anything that get's through... ;)

ever body kept saying ROBF sucks and i thought it was good just needed to figure out how to make it though and i did but CoC seems to be my biggest problem though but yeah its a nice strat if only my AMF/PRO was around the same exp as my others it would be really good
