So you think you spend too much time on CB2? Some people spend too much time on Half-life.... But, to each his own, eh?

45 Mins... I never knew any of those secrets even existed. He skipped entire chapters, the most obvious being "Powered Up" or whatever it was... it ends with that fight with that big guy in the tunnerl... totally bypassed.... Amazing.

That just kills the game.

I think some might argue that it adds a whole new dimension to the game. The thing was made in 1998, and it's very linear. Now, 8 years later, people are still finding new ways to have fun.

In actuality, "speedrunning" has become a gaming genre in and of itself. From the first Quake runs to all the Super Mario Bros. and Zelda runs, it breaths new life into games that are really much better in memory than in reality (to this day, I swear that the intro movie to Dune 2 is phenomenal.... despite the fact that I just watched it in a dosbox emulator a month or so ago...).
