yea this game is truly addictive.... I bought Guild Wars factions at release and i can't drag myself away from this game to play it lol

The community: I would have gotten bored of this game pretty quickly if there weren't so many interesting people playing it.

The changes: games get boring after a while, unless they are continually changing. Unfortunately, there have been very few changes to CB so far in 2006, and there has been only one small addition to the game - PL. Come on Jon...

Limited BA: you can only fight so much at once, and then have to wait for more BA. This encourages interaction with the community, and/or it makes you keep coming back to the game every few hours. It also means you can't spend all your time fighting, so you don't get bored with it as quickly.

I greatly enjoy repetitive tasks, CB provides me with a safety valve to defuse the tension built up during the course of my stupendously exciting daily life.
I'm also a very good driver.

for me it definately has to be the community. If i would have asked someone on a different game to loan me 3 million dollars they would have laughed in my face.

And watching my character grow and thinking of new strategys is like having a pet, except you don't have to feed it. :)

Everything BUT clan activities/points. Clans are restrictive and puerile.

Those occasions when somebody really should have been talked out of a using a particular picture for their user pic. And no Nov, I'm NOT talking about yours! That one is fine!

It's the pictures of shoes and big televisions and big jeans that I don't understand.....

Maybe we should have a competition for the worst User Pics...

The community: Finest I have ever been around on my many many years on Internet

The economy: Who knows when the next Flaming Whip or G Beee owned discount item is waiting around the corner!

Progress: Jon does care about this game and thus it does change as opposed to games that become stagnant within weeks of playing.

Gameplay: Most "tick" games go way to slow and there is nothing else to do once you use you ticks up. CB has the speed factor down. Stuff to do while waiting for BA also - like watching one of the colorful people here say something funny or serious - both are a mystery - "how in the world do they come up with some of the stuff they say?"

Well I've just come back from the House of Commons, after sampling two glasses of House Champaign. :) But that's not quite enough...

We're having a family bbq on saturday for Claires birthday, I promise I'll get drunk then! ;) And I might even turn on chat! :D

CB is addictive?

I like it so much because it's something to do when I'm at work :)

I like to play to do something when I'm not working.

I can also quit at any time, really!

Hehe I only play it for my clan..and so I can get my MCM...and get my SF...and get a new NCB...and do some more contest..SNK's especially..and talk to the community..and joke around and post weird things like this...

See I don't really like this game so much..I could quit anytime!!

What makes this game so good?...I would have to answer 1. The people that play it, there are some really decent people on this game, talented intelligent people that can make you laugh and are fun to talk to, I've played some games where all you get in chat is a steady stream of obscenities and racial slurs so the people here make this game a lot of what it is. 2. Making a character and watching it grow, seeing how your strategy will fare against the strats of other people, tweaking your strat so you can add this person to your list without losing anybody else off of it, these are the two things that make this game the most fun for me.

the community of course, the smartest bunch of people i know :)

they don't snap at you if you don't know anything.

getting all the gear for my team, then figuring out what to do after that unachievable goal :P

Its not addictive - I have spent whole hours not playing the game (OK - I was thinking about it).

Its like taking your best mate's girlfriend out - you know you shouldnt be doing it but what the heck.

Also its a good way to use up all that equipment you've got lying around. What on earth would you do with an Adamantite Cuirass if this game wasnt available. You would look silly walking into the pub wearing it.

Yup, you do look silly walking into a pub like that. But not as silly as I do with only my big tattoo, a pair of gloves and a pair of boots. Gets people attention that does.

Freed, you need to wear an Adamantite Cuirass in some of the pubs I've visited in Glasgow.
