Is the age of the tank over? Has the fascination with a single tank taking and dealing massive amounts of damage come to an end? By no means, or at least not for my part.
I want to resurrect the old single Tank strat (Yes, eventually hiring an enchanter). To get to where I can hire an Enchanter I need to able to survive, win battles. What weapons, skills, enchantments are in? I used to love to drool over Alucard, prehaps incorporate some of his strategy... Go for Dx?
What must I do to survive in this predominately Mage society?

Some of the UC tanks do quite well, check out Jack Crow, for instance... Other than that, use a ToA with additional emphasis on dexterity, and then choose targets carefully. It isn't going to be easy, and you'll still need some AMF I think...
Oh, what do I know...I have never specialized in growing a tank in my entire CB career...can someone else help this guy out? *smile*
See pitspawns char for an example of what was an effective single tank strat.
UC single minion ToA chars are getting popular...but they don't fight mages...
I know my cousin had fun running a tat less Adam wearing dex bonus having single tank with a myriad of armors.
BTW nice to see the grandest troll of them all back around...
Either go for a massive amount of AC, or go for a ToA. Getthe best items you can, including weapons, and pump them. That's about all a tank needs.

check shadowsparkle(failure) he is the biggest single tank that hired a E. With all hp/dx/st over 1mil. and he is not very well funded if u check his AC you can tell there is lot more to upgrade + make all item named. his E was the cheap one, if he had enough to hire the expensive one+ get all his item upgrade he will have a chance in top5.
I'm bringing back my old Elven Tank. But for an effective tank, you need AMF, plus Anti-DD armour. Or go for a ToA tank to boost your ST/DX.
