Who are the CB artists? (in Off-topic)
Hey all!
As most of you know by now, I'm a hard-core artist (or at least I try to be). I'd like to know how many other artists we have here! Go ahead and post what kind of art you do and all.
Also, depending on how many artists we have, I may hold future contests (probably with stress in 3D art and possibly photography). I mean heck, I have all this money... what to do!? I could sell it all, get the highest AC in the game, make some all powerful AG's... nah, art contests! w00t!

I've been out in London with GL and I can assure you he's definitely an
"artist".
Not sure if he's the kind of artist you mean though...
haha, that is funny G Beee
Oh har har G! ;)
I failed 'A' level art. My teacher refused to mark one o my projects claiming it was pornographic! O_O
But if I'm honest I'm really just a copist! ;)
Or was, I've not done any artwork for ages... :(

"Turn your minces and have a butcher's at GL's Gregory!"
Now, _that's_ art!
Commercial Photography was how I made a living for 12 years. For the past 6, it's been illustration, design, typesetting, and photo retouching.
:)
:D
Sut, have a butchers at that richard. Lovely bristols, shame about the boat....

Though I'm not terribly active in CB anymore, I do 3D stuff. I might be interested in a contest...

Hmm... not many CB artists... I'll have to rethink some contest ideas...
I've painted in the past before attending college and had previously taken a course in graphic designing using three dimensional program. Although I'd lost touch with those program since I didn't own a computer at home, I am back tracking my lessons on the 'Blender' 3d program that was previously mention in the other art contest topic. I am looking forward to attending any art contest this community may hold in the future!
I used to eat Crayola Crayons, so do I qualify as an arteeest? ;)

"Artist" is a bit...generic at best, Pixel. I can write, I can karaoke, and I have a good appreciation for most kinds of creativity/art.
Does that make me an artist?

To be a bit more specific... visual art, not performing arts.

I guess you could call me an artist...
That is, if my pathetic attempts at 3D images are considered art.
"Modern Art", I guess, which means you can create random stuff and call it art.
Could anyone assist me with the Blender program? I'd recently downloaded last night and have been getting use to its command and such; But everytime I start up this program there is also another Blender window that says the following "Using Python Version 2.4" " 'import site' failed; use -v for traceback" I've close it several times but that will cause my main blender window which is functional to close as well. Does anyone know if I am missing a file or requirement to run this program?

Blender pretty much always has that second window open on Windows... it's sortof the "console" where messages and stuff are printed out. If blender is functional in the main window, don't worry about the second one unless something goes wrong. It posts errors and warnings and such there, but unless the program crashes, I wouldn't worry too much. :)
