Remove the rental < 50k limit (in General)

with NW-PR being such an issue early on, why can't we put base or low NW items in the rentals?

Because they won't rent? Why rent what you can easily afford and buy. When you're down low, you can BS up any of the itty bitty weapons until it works for you for low cost. It's only up high, where large NW items are needed to be competitive, that renting multi-million NW items becomes helpful. Or at least that's my take on it.

Actually high end armours can be used by low end characters.......try it and see if you haven't already. I can put a huge adam on a 1k mpr character, without it impacting hugely because of the pr weighting....it's only weapons that raise pr hugely before the weapons allowance kicks in.

So why bother putting low end items in rentals?

And if you don't believe me check out my char AC. That adam is a +62.........It adds 14 to my overall PR......

I wouldn't know a thing about slapping a pile of armor on a small char and running with it...I am talking more about weapons. I figure Jon must want first timers to have to deal with the store for a few hundred mpr

I agree with you on the weapons front. But Vaynard is right - there are plenty of options for weapons for low end chars. That's what the store is for. Although it does raise the question (at least for me) of why bother having base rare weapons?

why not? will it hurt us and the economy greatly?
