Named Ammunition Bug? (in General)

Nostrous July 1 2006 2:24 AM EDT

I named my 8x2 [0] arrows for my compound bow.
The following occured.

-The stack of arrows net worth is 15,000,000 (sell for 50,000)
-The arrows add 200,000 PR
-I do more the same damage with 15x1 seeker arrows equipped. (comparitively)

Well naming now adds x150 ... so yeah

It says the bonus is added during combat. Just like regular weapons, and hence shouldnt affect the nw or the pr of the weapon.

as you say, naming items does not affect their NW.

can you think of anything else that may have caused this?

there was one more ammo nw bug.

fixed now.

I was used to be paying about $1 per piece of ammo (x2+1 mostly). Now it appears that that same ammo is costing about $10 each. Does this mean that my next ranged related post is in FS/WTB?

It costs over 12k for 1400 bolts to be raised in damage once. Thats more then the cost to raise the damage on any other ranged weapon out there. The upgrade cost is highly inflated in my opinion since that isn't even a fifth of a days worth of BA in bolts. And the lack of x1 +0 ammo isn't helping the situation any more.

I can see barts point when he decided he doesn't want to buy ammo anymore if it's going to cost 10 CBD per arrow when scrounging it from the store.

Tank-blender only if your tank doesn't use a ranged weapon.

Well, the upgrades are linear so it's going to cost a lot; just get base ammo if you don't want to pay that much.

{Quitter}Gah July 1 2006 5:37 PM EDT

That was odd... I just merged some base ammo, and there was an option to pay 3CBD to merge them and an option to merge them for free.
