Forging vs fighting (in General)

I would just like to know, how money-effective (is that a word? who cares) is forging as opposed to fighting? Is the money gained from forging enough to offset the loss of XP gain outright? I would like some stats from frequent forgers to help me figure this out. Now i started a little less than 2 weeks ago, and i've made about 1.1 million CB from fighting, alone. That seems, to me, to be pretty lucrative. What I want to figure out is, how much more money, per BA, do you get from forging, and how much do you get from fighting, at the same level?

Well?

Moved to General.

See Stats->User/Clan->Forging for 24 hours for the forging stats of the top forgers. 20% (or 15%) of that progress is lost on forge fees, the remainder is what they make on forging. Don't know how high you value your XP, but at least you can see for yourself how much forging can be worth.

Please note that all the top forgers have a much higher MPR than you do, as forging efficiency does depend on the MPR.

Of course i know that, bartjan, i'm not a fool. I'm not comparing MYSELF to the top forgers- i want to know what THEY make, up at ~1million MPR, per BA with fighting, as opposed to forging.

Easy with the hostility =p

seems fighting is more worth it, but if you do a lot of transactions and loans it can be better, because you're in the economic clan.

fighting is more worth it because forgers only make maybe 1 mil more a week (probably less) and fighters still get exp for doing their job.

sometimes people just want a change which is understandable and pick up forging.
