Idea: Permanent Item Name (in General)

I did a search just to see If I could find anything about this, and I didn't find anything. My idea is pretty simple; you would have two options:
1) Name item like it is currently with bonus and 1 yr length
2) Name item permanently with no bonus.

The reason I suggest this is that I would eventually like to name some items (probably not for a while, given my relative poverty) and I would rather have the name stay forever, than receive a bonus for the name. I realize this is not as profitable for Jon, so maybe the fee could be a little higher (ie $7.50 per item).
Any comments?

EBS you did miss something... the point of naming things is to say, "Look im rich and I named my items and you didn't" hahahah

I like to think of it as a way to personalize your character...

I agree with misfit, it is a way to make your character yours. But really....you can't make 1 mil CB extra in a whole year? 1 Mil CB (or $10 USD) names 2 items don't forget. There's also people that will name one of your items for like 600k or so, as long as they have another item they'd like to name. I don't see this idea as being beneficial in any real way...It sounds good on paper though, I suppose... ^_^

you may carp me for this, but i didn't realize there was a bonus until after i got my 2 items named... >.

Its a way to hit 20000 damage with a 40k MPR character. *wink, wink*
