this recently that shows exposes that con of Suduko: They can be solved without any brain power at all. Unlike crosswords.

th00p, did you make use of any automated tasks? Such as auto pencil marks, or auto-tell-you-you-got-a-wrong-answer or anything? If you happen to be using the widget, how many points did you get?

The solvable link is only for the easy Sudokus, the harder ones involve logic and strategy such as X-wing and Y-wing and so on.

Yeah, I was wondering about that "no-thinking" strategy... My boss was showing me some advanced puzzles (and techniques), and the brute force "process of elimination" only seemed to be effective for easy puzzles.
I'm not saying the most advanced puzzles reach master level chess difficulty, but there is more to the puzzles than first glance (hence the longevity).
