MySpace hack 2: Electric Boogaloo (in Off-topic)

Remember that zango thing I posted last week? Well apparently there is a new hack on myspace, looks like this one has no easy solution.

MySpace hack involving flash content.

I think the only thing to stop this kind of obvious attack on myspace is to do one of these things:
  • Not allow flash content to be embedded by anyone.
  • Have lots of myspace staff go through and screen all new posts for malicious flash content.
  • Make a whitelist of flash content allowed
  • Make a special webapp for creating webpages and stop allowing people to create raw html pages.
Whatever they do, they better act quick, this kind of crap is only going to get worse. Hell they could do this same hack with "adding friends" virally like that first hack. Simply make a flash app that adds you as friend and puts things in your profile. Easy as pie especially since the SWF source is already out in the open.

Well at least it is a cool hack and you get redirected to 9/11 Truth Movement pages.

Ironically Rupert Murdoch owns Myspace.
