This is an organization that me and MaL decided to form because we believe that even though the forum does not give items / cash back (understandable so) we believe that many players should still get something to make the loss of goods easier to bear. We have made a character under my account named "Public Record Fund". We just wanted to state here that this is a completely non-profit Fund and we will take no tax or income of any kind from it. We are doing this solely because we want to make the better place (as I am sure many of you will hate us for).

We would gladly accept any and all donations from any player willing to contribute. It can be tiny (but cash only please) or large. This is to increase the amount of people we can help. Also I want to state that who we help out will be completely up to me and MaL and we will not be swayed by anything other then our personal decision on a case by case basis on to who gets what. This is to make sure we are not accused of bias or any other form of scamming.

Once again only with a deal that was broken in PR can we take any interest in a case. Also just because you lack money or are "poor" we will not give money to you. Also do not try to scam us by getting you and your friend to get together post a faulty PR and then ask for money. If we notice anything like that we will of course not send anything and never send you anything in case something did happen.

Note: a link to a thread will always be needed in order to prove you lost out on money.

Note 2: We will be keeping tabs on who donates so we can take it into account if that person ever gets scammed. If anyone wants to check whos donated what to check my biography.

Note 3: Just to let everyone know it has nothing to do with how much you send to show your generosity. A player with 50k who sends 25k is just as generous as a player with 1 mil who sends 500k. At least in theory. So just in case anyone has scoffed at other or will about how much they send.... please do NOT do so. Thank you.

Added guidelines:
There will no NO questioning of them. If you don't like them, let us see the problems ourselves and fix if we deem necessary.

Guidelines for now:
below 100k we will give no more then 80%
500k and below no more then 75%
1 million and below no more then 60%
5 mil and below no more then 50%

Now those are very rough guidelines. If I find or MaL finds a problem we will adjust accordingly. Also notice we gave no minimum. We may have very good reasons for giving substantially less and we will not feel compelled to give the maximum amount. Also existing funds will have a role in who gets what as will if that persons has donated (though the difference will be small and the amount donated will matter little so to make sure that people dont feel they have to donate large amounts to be treated fairly).

Due to the fact that many people seem to either not know this or not care we are restating this fact. You are entitled to a refund whether or not you have donated to the fund. But we do still need donations to keep us going. So if you are scammed it does not matter if you have donated or not. You are still entitled to a refund

yeah thanks. I do like when their posted here, and I keep track of all donations too. Though I missed a few awhile ago, and i am very sorry about that.

Also, to further clarify, its not always a "mistake". Sometimes someone just quits and then how they get their money back. Or gets banned or can't get internet. Basically this just supposed to help out those people who get completely ripped off. This CAN happen to anyone.

I have somewhere around $20m or so of lost funds. Is that even possible to claim?

I'd make a claim, but I think I have enough money =P. Not like I ever use the money for anything but contests anyways. Once I finish theming the site and get the last 20mil, I think I'll donate some to this cause. Thanks for putting this up =D

Wow Nightstrike... technically it is but it has to be during CB2, you must have it documented, the person who scammed you must have been reset. If you can provide me with documentation, or someone I can trust to assure me that it happened.... then I can START trying to pay you back lol.

Thanks Pixel, that would really help out. But if someone scammed you and you want some repayment, no matter how much money you already have, you can ask. The fund does not discriminate based on how rich someone is lol.

There's Doom Lit Sky not paying me the remaining 400k. I bought a sweatshirt for him at 10:1. He gave me 3m, and stopped paying. I don't know what happened to him, as he has since left.

Cb2 lol. I don't cover CB stuff. As I recall, if I did the whole game would have to go broke paying for it lol.

As for the other stuff, with the current amount of money I can't cover even a small portion of it really. But I will see what I can do.

What was the outcome of whether you paid out on lost bets not being paid.

Well I did decide to pay her, but I haven't seen her even once since I came to that conclusion. But I also understand she "lost" nothing so I was going to repay her a even smaller percentage then normal. Something like 1/8 of total value of items. Because, I did feel that she did risk something and, had she lost, she would have payed. So I tryed to meet everyone half way. Some small repayment for her, while not wasting the money completely of everyone who donated. But, for the record, had the people who made the major complaints been even decent contributors to the fund, I may have taken their points more seriously. As is, what right did they have to say she gets no money?
But it is a moo point. Thats right. A cow's opinion. Because she isn't active any longer (to my knowledge, if I am wrong she needs to get in touch with me).

There are THREE people out because of scammers, and I know you all would want somewhere to go if it happened to you. So cough up. Please. This isn't something to pay back the stupid people. Unless you think Nightmare is an idiot and don't know how to spend his money. Or SirBubble doesn't deserve to keep whats his. Now picture it being you. So come on, and donate, whatever you can.

that's fine if you don't care about the PRF, velvet. but i'm very passionate, it helped me, and i want to help others. if you feel that way that strongly, don't complaint to him once you are out 1 or 2mil and can't get it back from us because you gave us crap in the first place.

If donated amounts don't matter, why post the donated amount? If everyone who donates is to be viewed equally, then don't make the donation size public.
