I want YOUR input on my Decay strat... (in General)

thist is the ideal setup(the 4 axbows are the problem as of now). What I would settle for would be only 2 axbows on the first two minions.

1)decay/ Axbow/ GS

2)decay /Axbow /Haste

3)axbow/ CoC /Base GA / DM

4)axbow/ AS/ Base CoC/ RoS

A 4 minion team with decay will definitely not give it enough 'umph' to knock out any AMF that you encounter. limiting the size of your team and making decay the main damage dealer (as well as keeping him alive) will be the main concerns

Without an AoI your decay mages will be the first to go. Try to get an AoI on one of them, that way they can work in front but last until melee.

If you run into a tank team with DM, good luck hitting them with the Axbows, otherwise I understand what you are doing.

Not sure the wisdom of base CoC on last minion, I understand the RoS there, but let me mention, I feel the best power the RoS offers is the ability to protect your own AMF and EC from your own DM. I see very few people leverage this, but if you do not, you are adding a HUGE chunk of PR with a tat that only affects some of your opponents.

Since you are relying on GS and haste for your ST and DX almost exclusively, then you might find that it is just as well to drop melee in with DD, to get a good mix. Only time can tell if your GS/Haste combo can keep up with your peers training ST and DX.

... Base GA returns zero damage... Base CoC will get amfed for more than you do... Decay minions in front will die before using the spell FOUR axbows; why lower so much dex? you aren't trying to hit with a melee weapon to reduce the ammount that they hit you, but how are you gonna kill them anyways with no high damage dealer? Those minions with decay will get amfed massivly if you are training GA and Haste on them. And your armor would end up all being Mithril Chain Mails cause of all the enchantments? kinda expensive for a strat that doesn't deal any damage

Don't see much point in GS if all DD. Wouldn't this be a good place for a Real Tank or EC? Raise a single tank up into this strat at a very high area and I'll back it a smig. If you and planning on a 4 minion from start then I must fling tulwars at you. Also why 4 axbow when you could buy one and pump +'s in from the cash you saved. GA can't be base would have to have 50k at least for dealing with the many mages. Plan on seeing many tanks with DM do you?
Picture DTMD and would like to add decay does fine at 10k-20k. ;)

Decay wearing AoI and possibly ToE Heavy T AMF/GA minion TSA/MgS Wall. I'd throw in haste as well somewhere, likely token levels on the decay mage.

Decay does good damage even with a .50 AMF

Unless you train DX in addition to all of the above, or are willing to spend money on massive Axbows, I can't see you hitting much - the Haste will be diluted by the Decay on the same minion.

Plus, Decay itself will not do your killing for you. As you have it listed, your only non-Decay damage in the melee rounds comes from GA/CoC, at base levels, which is unlikely to be enough.

In the current environment, Decay has a problem. As discussed on other threads, we seem to be heading for days where the norm is to kill one minion per round, and Decay simply does not keep up with that escalation. At best, it can take out half a minion, and that only in melee, which means you need two of your minions to make it that far. All in all, I can't really see Decay being serious competition to teams to heavy FB/MM, or even giant ELBs.
