How do I get my Char back? (in General)

Ok, long story short.

I showed CB to a guy at work. We took care of never logging at the same time from the same IP and Whatnot. And wanting him to get a better Idea of CB, I lended him a Char, which he never returned Even though I told him I'd pay for the transfer fee.

Now the guy is not working with me anymore. In fact, he's been fired a few weeks ago. I sent him numerous E-Mails and a few CB chatmails, to no Avail... I seriously want my Char back, especialy that he was equiped with a named Weapon of mine. I'd be willing to pay for the TF...Please Someone help me.

BTW, this is th emessage CB sent me today;

"After 1 week, CB is no longer attempting to deliver your mail to Bambam. Message was: Yo dude....when are you sending me my character back? Seriously...it's been a while."

The Player name of the guy is BamBam, and My char's name is Angst. Thx.

I think you might find the folks at the scam payback organization your best bet, as admins aren't likely to change anytime soon (thank god ...err Jon [genuflect]). You can take the bit of cash they give you plus some savings and buy a bigger char.

He only played for a day. Why didn't you ask for the character back then?

You gave somebody a char which had your named MH and BG's equipped?

1) Is there a Public Record statement of this deal? If yes, go to #2. If no, skip to #3.

2) Where is the thread? Do you wish to have his account (with your character attached) reset?

3) Admins. are not in the recovery business. The way to get back your character is to keep trying to communicate with the other user, or to just make a new character.

I did not give him the char, i actualy landed it to him in order to get him hooked as I was. The thing is that the char himself is pretty much useless to me right now, what I would have loved to get back though is my weapons. Three named Items... All I can say is that I shall never trust a coworker again. You never know until when they will be working with you.

I get the fact that Admins are not into the retrival business, but I have seen some instances where an Admin would arrange something to get get someone's goods back after they where screwed over...Which is my case right there... You guys are sure that nothing can be done so I can get MY named items back?

Because I'm a Sub-Admin. and cannot see any additional records that a normal user can, I won't return anything for you. Reason being is that I don't really know that the stuff was yours to begin with.

You haven't spoken of a Public Record thread that you've made some type of deal. In addition, character transfer logs don't show any trace of you sending a character because it doesn't go back that far.

Sorry, but as per the Public Record warning, I can't do anything for you. You might try to talk to a Full Admin. to see if he'll check into it for you, but that's all that you really can do. :) Good luck.
