Yes, I believe in such cases, the items are transferred to an admin character, and will return to you when the loan is up.

I've done countless bans and resets as an admin, and I've never bothered to check who owns what. So far I've heard no complaints (besides from those that did end up being banned/reset), so I assume the items eventually end up where they belong...
